ABOUT US

You may have come across our stall at a music festival

This is our online outlet so you can browse and make purchases throughout the year.  Without suffering the cold and rain that the British Summer all too often brings.

If you are unfamiliar with Bazzar Pixie we are a family run business mostly selling clothing.  We sell beautiful, ethically sourced items from Fair Trade suppliers.  

It's important to us that our clothes are beautiful and high quality, so we frequently travel to Nepal to visit manufacturers and source our own Bazzar Pixie label garments. When we meet the manufacturers we visit their workshops to make sure they uphold the fair and safe working conditions we require, and then we sit and drink lots of tea with them. When buying our stock we always pay at least 50% of the cost up front to assist with the purchase of materials and ensure that the small businesses we work with don't struggle financially.

In the summer we will be out & about at various Music Festivals and events.  If you are attending any of these events please pop over for a browse. Often the stock we have on the stall has not yet made it to the web site.

All suppliers recommend clothing is hand washed.

 

Size

Selecting the correct size when shopping for Fair Trade clothing can be a bit of a ‘dark art’.  Garments are manufactured by many suppliers in far flung locations, often items are very individual, and so sizing can vary enormously. To help with this we have tried to give detailed measurements with each description.

We do offer to exchange or refund any item that is not suitable.  Just return,  in original packaging, with tags attached and a note explaining the reason for return & if received in good order, we will dispatch a replacement or issue a refund that day.

Our own Bazzar Pixie items come in Medium, Large, XLarge & XXLarge.  Which roughly translates to a British ladies 12, 14, 16 & 18.  Our Free size garments are approx 12 to 18.  We do give more detailed measurements with each item.

 

Recycling

Where ever possible we recycle any materials that are used to package and transport our goods, for example cardboard boxes, plastic wrappers etc.

Plastic bags used on our stall are made from recycled materials and we only use them if requested.
